This Privacy Notice explains how TheJobsPulse ("we", "us", "our"), operating the thejobspulse service (the "Service"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. TheJobsPulse is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service.

- Account data — email address, login credentials, and authentication identifiers (including Google OAuth identifiers if you sign in with Google).
- Profile and resume data — name, contact details, work history, education, and skills extracted from resumes you upload.
- Job and analysis data — job URLs you submit, scraped job descriptions, generated ATS resumes, and skill-gap reports.
- Usage and telemetry — log data, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
- Support communications — messages you send to us.
2. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the Service (contract performance) — create your account, parse resumes, analyze jobs, generate ATS resumes, and store your analyses.
- Billing and subscription management (contract performance) — handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests) — detect abuse, protect accounts, and enforce our Terms.
- Service improvement (legitimate interests) — analyze usage to improve features and performance.
- Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests) — respond to your inquiries.
- Legal compliance (legal obligation) — comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
3. How we share your data
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers / subprocessors — cloud hosting, database, authentication, AI inference, and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
- Merchant of Record — Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for purchases of the Service. - Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and tax advisers, when necessary.
- Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
4. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
